I have known Celia Mosier for many years now and I could not recommend a more qualified goalkeeper coach.  She has always been able to get the most out of me as a player and has always pushed me to my limits. It is her I owe my success to.

​I can easily say that I would not be the goalkeeper I am today if it hadn’t been for Celia Mosier.  She understands the game and all of its intricacies, a knowledge that is present at every training session.  It is quite evident that she has a great enthusiasm for coaching in the way she pays attention to detail as well as, her personal investment in all of her goalkeepers  As a D1 goalkeeper in the ACC the smallest mistake in technique can be the difference between a goal and a save.  Celia’s focus on the little details creates an environment of immediate success by allowing goalkeepers to adjust a small piece of their technique at a time.  The most rewarding aspect for me is, knowing that when I arrive to train I am entering an environment that demands success, but also values the process.  I attribute a lot of who I am as a goalkeeper and as a person today because of the relationship I have fostered with Celia over 3 years.  Meeting her was truly one of the greatest rewards my soccer career has presented me.

If I never had the opportunity to train with Celia Mosier I would not have started as a Freshman at University of Virginia, I would not have been a consistent member of the Youth-National Team program from the time I was 14 years old, and I would not have the mental toughness to be an independent woman in sport, school, and society.  I started training with Celia at Virginia State ODP training sessions and continue to seek out her training today when I am home from school. She is not only one of the most innovative and successful goalkeeper coaches I have ever had the honor of working with, she also takes it upon herself to shape her players into more than just good goalkeepers. I have trained with many goalkeepers around the country over the past ten years, and few are more solid in their fundamentals as goalkeepers then the ones Celia works with. Moreover, even less are more respectful, resilient, and confident then Celia's players. Celia has an amazing ability to push me to levels in my game that I did not think were possible, which I am truly thankful for. I would recommend her training to anyone who is willing to work hard and embrace challenges, because her love for goalkeeping as well as her confidence will drive you to be a better soccer player both on and off the field.
