In 2013, after years of developing the most accomplished goalkeepers in Virginia, Celia Mosier came to the Richmond Strikers to coach in the Elite Clubs National League and start a Goalkeeper Academy. Her dream was to create a consistent environment in which goalkeepers could develop the technical ability, tactical awareness and confidence that it takes to impact the game on a consistent basis. The result of that dream is Own The Goal.
